The Black Violet Tarot – Cherry Blossom Edition is a 78-card limited edition deck (n/a of 500) created by Heidi Phelps. This sequel to the original Black Violet Tarot, illustrated in black and white, reflects the bittersweet dualities of life and death, joy and grief, and memory and future.  This deck introduces joyful pops of blush pink, inspired by cherry blossoms and symbolizing hope and rebirth.

The Black Violet Tarot - Cherry Blossom Edition

Throughout history and folklore, violets have represented life and fertility, death and remembrance—a striking contrast of joy v. grief, beginning v. end, and future v. memory.

Created by Heidi Phelps as she became a mother while losing her own mother to cancer, the original Black Violet Tarot was illustrated entirely in black and white, to reflect this idea of bittersweet dualities—of shining a light in times of darkness. This deck was part of the Kickstarter campaign, the first-ever "Cherry Blossom" edition of the deck—a sequel to the original Black Violet Tarot.

The Black Violet Tarot - Cherry Blossom Edition will introduce joyful pops of blush pink, inspired by cherry blossoms, and symbolizing hope and rebirth—a natural progression from grief to healing.

    The Black Violet Tarot - Cherry Blossom Edition is a 78-card deck that includes:

    • 22 Major Arcana cards.
    • 56 Minor Arcana cards—16 court cards, and 40 pips (Pentacles, Cups, Swords, Wands).
    • The cards measure 2.75" x 4.75" and are printed on 330gsm smooth matte cardstock.

  • Guide Booklet

    A 68-page tarot-card-sized (2.75" x 4.75") guide booklet with descriptions of each card (Major and Minor Arcana, Court Cards, and Pips) and keywords associated with reversals.

  • Special Box

    A two-part rigid box in blush pink with a dainty floral pattern featuring The Magician on the cover. This is a special cover only for this first campaign—later editions will have a different cover.

After you place an order, please allow 2-5 business days for processing. You will receive a notification once your order has been shipped.

FREE USA Domestic Shipping via USPS Flat Rate

We use USPS as our mail carrier for all shipments within the US. Free standard USPS flat rate shipping, which includes tracking and basic USPS flat rate insurance, is available for all domestic orders. If you would like to add additional insurance to your order, please Contact Us.

International Shipping

For international orders outside the USA, international shipping fees will apply. We will contact you to finalize this charge.

Returns Policy

If you wish to return your order, please note that due to the unique nature of our specialty collector decks, returns are only accepted under specific circumstances. If your return is initially approved, your item must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it. Additionally, it needs to be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Return Process

If you have a problem and would like to inquire about returning your item, please Contact Us with your order number, phone number, and reason for the return, and we will respond to you as soon as possible.

You will be liable for any return shipping charges.

Refunds

If your item is eligible for a return. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
