The Black Violet Tarot – White Edition is a very limited edition deck created by Heidi Phelps, resulting from a miscommunication during the printing of the Deluxe Edition. This special deck, celebrating its 3rd anniversary, features 80 cards, including two bonus cards, all illustrated in black and white. It reflects the bittersweet dualities of life and death, inspired by the artist’s personal journey of becoming a mother while losing her mother to cancer. The deck is signed and includes upgraded premium cardstock.

The Black Violet Tarot - The White Deck

During the printing of the Black Violet Tarot: Deluxe Edition, a miscommunication occurred between creator Heidi Phelps and the printer, leading to the production of this deck - the White Deck. Only a very limited number of copies were made available. The Black Violet Tarot - White Edition shares many similarities with the Deluxe Edition shown below:

A deck for artists and dreamers...

Throughout history and folklore, violets have represented life and fertility, death and remembrance—a striking contrast of joy v. grief, beginning v. end, and future v. past. Created by Heidi Phelps as she became a mother while losing her own mother to cancer, the Black Violet Tarot was illustrated entirely in black and white, to reflect this idea of bittersweet dualities—of shining a light in times of darkness.

The first Black Violet Tarot deck was published in 2020. This “White” deck is a special very limited edition of the deck for its 3rd anniversary.

We use USPS as our mail carrier for all shipments within the US. Free standard USPS flat rate shipping, which includes tracking and basic USPS flat rate insurance, is available for all domestic orders. If you would like to add additional insurance to your order, please Contact Us.

International Shipping

For international orders outside the USA, international shipping fees will apply. We will contact you to finalize this charge.

Returns Policy

If you wish to return your order, please note that due to the unique nature of our specialty collector decks, returns are only accepted under specific circumstances. If your return is initially approved, your item must be unused and in the same condition as when you received it. Additionally, it needs to be in the original packaging. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Return Process

If you have a problem and would like to inquire about returning your item, please Contact Us with your order number, phone number, and reason for the return, and we will respond to you as soon as possible.

You will be liable for any return shipping charges.

Refunds

If your item is eligible for a return. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
